JCAHO Accredited

The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) acts as an independent accrediting body for healthcare organizations nationwide.

It accredits over 1000 ambulatory centers and is the widely recognized standard for high quality services. Many payors, regulatory agencies, and managed care contractors require Joint Commission accreditation for reimbursement, certification and licensure, and as key elements of participation agreements.

JCAHO accreditation provides a visible demonstration to patients and the community that Country Doctor Community Health Centers is committed to improving patient care quality, and enhancing our community's confidence in us. CDCHC was surveyed and accredited initially in 1998. We subsequently were resurveyed and reaccredited in November 2001, once again receiving high marks in all areas, and have just successfully passed our most recent resurvey in November 2004.
